Possible class soon

So, I might be doing a Copic class very soon (like in the next few months). Anyone have any suggestions for what I should cover in it?
It will be something similar to before where enrolling gives you access to videos and you have full access to me for critique and guidance. I doubt it will be a long one. perhaps a week long, and maybe multiple classes over a few weeks.
Please comment your suggestions/ideas/ wishes now, so I can come up with a plan!
Thanks!

Classes, Followers - busy month

Hello all!
First I'd like to say THANK YOU! I have 100 followers now! That's so exciting to me! I've never had that many people follow my blogs before so It's nice to actually have an audience! LOL!

Second, Phew! I've got one BUSY month going on!
My Copic Class starts tomorrow! There is still time to register! I'm a little nervous, but then again... I'm not. I've had such a good response to my blog, and my many tutorials out there I'm sure I can make it worthwhile for the students.

Those of you who registered for the class keep an eye on your email!
If you aren't already a member of the CDAC (Crafters digital art centre) Then please go ahead and register an account there. http://priscillastyles.ning.com/
The class will be hosted in a private group in that social network. It's free to register.
You will be invited to that class Via Email, so please make sure to keep an eye out for your invite. They will be sent out tomorrow; Check your spam folders as well, just in case.

I am also teaching a second class through my work. I'm going to be teaching Acrylic Gel transfers In North Vancouver. If you're a card maker this is a really neat and unique way to add some dimension and texture to a card! Check out the information on the class here.

After these classes are all done, I'm going to try to get my natural life rhythm back! If my work schedule can be more consistent that would be much easier but I wont hold my breath on that one, or I'll turn blue and die.
I'm going to go back to working on my Comics consistently, and occasionally throwing out a free bee to you guys, though they won't be with the regularity they were in the past.

I'm going to go rummage for some food, and play my Wii a little bit before diving into the colouring and making some more examples for my class!

Still sucking at life, LOL

I seem to be the only one on the internet who didn't get back into a groove after the Christmas break.
I apologize for the lack of Free bee last weekend as well!

I've already for a few people signed up for my Copic class! You can enroll now if you would like to as well!

Got a question that's worth sharing so here it is!

Do they have to be Copic markers?
Yes and No. Any alcohol markers will be okay, but Copics are the most blend-able, and I will be talking about copics the whole way through. I will be talking a lot about Copic colour codes and other Copic related things. Having said that, I don't expect you to go out and spend 300$ on Copic markers for my simple little course. Work with what you've got. If you decide to go get Copic after that, well that's great!

I'm going to try to have a free bee up this weekend, but I'm pretty engrossed in dancing like Michael Jackson and preparing for my class! HA!
I also lost my voice, AGAIN. So it's putting a bit of a hamper on my video making.

Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know I was still alive, and promote my class a little :p

Decoding Copic Markers

Every time I want to talk about the way Copic labels it's colours, and how to interpret it, I forget where I learned it to link it!! Well, Nevermore! I'm going to put it all right here! I am sorry for the blog flood today though! trying to catch up! HAHA!

Decoding Copic Markers
The numbers and letters on the copic cap's actually serve a great purpose.

The letters are fairly simple to discern:
B=Blue, BG=Blue Green, BV=Blue Violet, G=Green,YG=Yellow Green, Y=Yellow, YR=Yellow Red, R=Red, RV=Red Violet, V=Violet, E=Earth, C=Cool Gray, N=Neutral Gray, T=Toner Gray, W=Warm Gray

The numbers can be a little bit tricky. All the markers follow the same principle except Earth colours (E).
Every Copic Rep, blogger, and artists I've ever met or spoke to has said this, but no one has decoded the earth's for me. All I can tell you about earth colours is that they have blending groups, and they're yummy.

Behind the letters of the code, there are 2 numbers the first number is the colours Saturation - in other words, how pure and bright the colour is. Or put differently; how much grey is in it. Example: BG05 would be a very vibrant bright, clear colour as it has no grey in it, while BG93 is a very dull and greyed colour because it's got the highest concentration of grey in it; it is in fact called Green Grey.
Now the second number shows how dark or light a colour is. So BG00 is a very light colour, it's nearly white, while BG09 is quite a dark colour, but the purity of colour is still there.

Now you know that information, How do you use it?
Well,  you can easier find blending groups by paying attention to these codes, and also you'll easily find colours that will feather blend together.

Blending groups generally have the same numbers as a first number, and the second letter moves higher or lower.
EG: BG93, BG96, and BG99

This is a blending group! Of course you always must experiment but having the Copic swatch book handy, takes all the hunting and guess work out of it (especially for those pesky E's)!

I'll be using this information a little more in my copic class in February too!
I'm making it's own tag 'copiccode" too so I can always find this, LOL!

monday Free Bee - hammy's

Hey all!
Only 11 days until Christmas, Can you believe it? I'm racing to keep up with everything before the jolly craziness hits! I'm hosting a colour challenge on the CDAC, and planning my Copic classes most of the time! That's on top of my Full time job, and 2 comics!
Anyway, without further Ado, here is last weeks Digi coloured by Happy Crafter!
I think she did a magnificent job with it! You still have a week to grab this freebee of the pup in the hat before he ends up in the shop.

Onward! today's free bee is 2 little hamsters celebrating christmas with the gift of corn!
I think this could also be used for any other gift giving event, but I drew it with Christmas in mind, of course.
so yes, that's a piece of corn, LOL! Just click on the image to enlarge them to get the image to use! Hey, and don't forget to show me what you've done :D
Respect my terms of use!
So, there is only one more pre-Christmas free bee to come! any suggestions? requests? after Christmas I'll be starting on other holiday and more just plain ol' seasonal images so get your Christmas suggestions in!While you're here, please check out the information on my classes! Online copic Classes

It's Confirmed!
In early 2011 I will be starting Online Copic marker classes on the CDAC. I will strive to make them universally applicable to all purposes not just illustration or crafting. They will be entertaining, stimulating and informative, and I think they're a pretty unique angle for markers.
For the most part classes will be affordable, 1 month long, have at least 1 assignment, free digital images, and a give away at the end of the class. you will receive a completion badge for your blog or website as well.

if you think you'll be interested in the classes please feel free to fill out this short form to be informed when enrolment begins.
You will not be emailed for anything but Copic classes hosted by myself.

Please help me by spreading the word to your friends for me, I'd really appreciate it!
I'll be cross posting this to all my blogs, so I apologize if anyone watches more than one blog, you'll be bombarded.

Copic classes online?

I've always dabbled with this idea, but now as I'm starting to really make my life focused on markers (my copics full colour in markers, its become nearly my only artistic medium for years, and I sell them at work) I'm feeling like classes are the next step for me. Online classes.
I made a poll on deviantART about pricing, but I thought this would be a good place to ask you guys, Would you even like to attend a class by me?
This is in the early planning stages of course, I'm actually trying to come up with a lesson plan now to see how much information I'd have to share etc, but still, I'm mainly interested in knowing if there is interest there at all.
I've done a bit of teaching before, and I've done live demo's but I've not had the opportunity to have a class where I can do follow up and assignments.

So does that interest anyone?

I'm not seeing the Digi Stamps and a rather prolific career choice at this time (not that it was, Comics are.. but you get my point), I'm trying to find other ways to satisfy my need to share my information but also knowing the value of my time and my experience I'd like to make a little income with that.

So please, let me know your honest truthful opinion :)
